Mr. Vergez turned out to be that person. He took us to the dozen or so possible homes we had selected from the hundreds of homes we'd viewed online. When we had questions, his answers were always quick and to the point. The few times he didn't have a ready answer he got back to us in a matter of hours, or by the next day at the latest. His answers were always thorough and relevant. He listened to our comments about each house we looked at, and his understanding of who we were and what we were looking for improved with every day we spent together.
Once we had narrowed down the possibles to a shortlist he took us back to each one, and finally, when we had narrowed it down to one in particular he arranged with the owner to allow us spend an afternoon in the house, photographing and measuring and experiencing the change of light and the overall feel of the house.
